DAY 1 ATHENS ARRIVAL

Arrival to Athens Int airport and transfer to hotel. Dinner at hotel. Overnight.

DAY 2 ATHENS

After breakfast walking sightseeing tour with local licensed guide (on SIC basis).

No longer just a brief stop-off before hot-footing it to the Greek Islands, Athens is drawing in city break visitors and travellers keen for a taste of the chaos that makes this city so unique. The birthplace of modern Western civilization, this sprawling city of white apartment blocks and crumbling neoclassical builds expands beyond the Parthenon. Mixing old traditions with a new, youthful energy and spirit, Athens has way more to offer than relics of antiquity, though we wouldn’t cross those off the to-do list just yet...

After tour free time for shopping and individual activities. Overnight.

DAY 3 ATHENS – PIRAEUS – MYKONOS

After breakfast transfer to Piraeus port for a ferry/catamaran to Mykonos. Arrival to Mykonos port and transfer to hotel. Free time and overnight in Mykonos.

 

DAY 4 MYKONOS

After breakfast free time for individual activities, shopping and enjoying Mykonian lifestyle.

Mykonos is the great glamour island of Greece and flaunts its sizzling St-Tropez-meets-Ibiza style and party-hard reputation. The high-season mix of hedonistic holiday makers, cruise-ship crowds, buff gay men and posturing fashionistas throngs Mykonos Town (aka Hora), a gorgeous whitewashed Cycladic maze, delighting in its cubist charms and its chichi cafe-bar-boutique scene. The island is maxed out with cashed-up (or spendthrift) visitors, hip hotels, beach bars and restaurants. There are a few provisos about visiting here. Come only if you are prepared to pay. And are intent on jostling with street crowds. And sitting bum cheek to cheek with oiled-up loungers at the packed main beaches. Oh, and partying relentlessly. Out of season, devoid of gloss and preening celebrities, Hora basically closes, with nothing but the occasional person and pelican wandering the empty streets

Overnight in Mykonos.

DAY 5 MYKONOS – PIRAEUS – ATHENS

After breakfast transfer to Mykonos port for ferry/catamaran to Piraeus port. Transfer from Piraeus port to hotel in Athens. Free time for shopping and individual activities and overnight.

DAY 6 ATHENS DEPARTURE

After breakfast transfer for departure flight. End of service.
